→ COVID Relief in the American Rescue Plan
Find more business and family financial assistance programs at the Small Business Administration's (SBA) website for the most current updates.
→ Amber Grants for Women - $10,000 grant awarded to women-owned businesses (including nonprofits as of August!) every month with an easy application ($15 application fee).
→ Minority Business Development Agency (MDBA) - Review videos and resources for helpful tips for MBDA Grant Competition Submissions.
→ Grants.gov - If you’re looking to secure a federally sponsored grant, Grants.gov is a great place to start. While the database isn’t targeted specifically towards minority-owned or minority women-owned businesses (or even businesses in general) features a variety of grant types.
→ The National Association for the Self-Employed has a small business grant program called NASE Growth Grants that provides grants of up to $4,000. To date, the program has supplied $1 million in grants to small business owners. Note: Just keep in mind that Growth Grants are only available to members of NASE—so if you’re not a current member, you’ll need to sign up; membership is $11.95 monthly.
→ Nonprofit resources The Nonprofit Academy of Wisconsin works with nonprofit organizations, bringing resources to help them develop an intentional capacity-building plan, learn about what they need to work on, and implement change. To do that, we rely on the expertise of many partners..
